About the Opportunity

Energold Group is looking for a full-time Procurement Specialist / Buyer to join our team in Vancouver, BC.

Working autonomously and taking ownership of all purchasing needs for our mining solutions operations, your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Receiving purchasing requests from Energold divisions throughout North and South America
• Determining most appropriate vendors to use based on price, availability, and other criteria
• Evaluating and challenging internal purchase requests
• Negotiating favorable contracts with vendors relating to pricing, payment terms, delivery times etc. 
• Handling and optimizing purchase orders, and coordinating international shipments
• Analyzing inventory data from Energold divisions, and assisting with inventory controls and processes as needed
• Sourcing new vendors; identifying, developing, and nurturing strategic short-term and long-term relationships with existing and new vendors
• Developing forecasting and reporting tools as needed

About You

To qualify, you must have a minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Buyer or in Purchasing/Procurement. Since you will be liaising with various international operations, bilingual abilities in both English and Spanish will be a requirement.
